Student Mentoring & Advising
Richard Dance is a faculty advisor and mentor at Prescott
College, for both graduate and undergraduate students. For
those pursuing a Bachelors Degree in the Adult Degree Program
(ADP), Richard can serve as your Mentor on a per-course basis.
For those pursuing a Masters Degree in the Master of Arts
Program (MAP), Richard can serve as your advisor for your
entire program. His fields of expertise in the Humanities
are philosophy, religion, mythology, and certain areas in
psychology.
Both the ADP and MAP are fully accredited programs, designed
for self-directed adult learners. This is a wonderful way
to pursue an education in your field of interest, because
you design your own study program, and accomplish the work
from any location. There are no traditional classes, but rather,
you attend occasional colloquia in Prescott, meeting with
other self-directed students who are also pursuing their own
educational passion. Having been through the Masters Program
himself, Richard sums up Prescott College as "following
your bliss through passionate, transformational education."
